We had a fun night here where the kids couldn’t get enough of the pool with the waterslide, and the room came with a large fridge that was super handy. Relaxation was a breeze with a great BBQ area and a cozy patio to chill on, making family time even better. The only downside was a bit of excess chlorine that made our eyes burn during swim time. 😊

easy access to parks and local attractions for city strolls
I stayed for one night and loved that I was just a short drive from Falls Park and the Great Plains Zoo, making it so easy to explore the beautiful sights, and even though the room wasn’t the most enjoyable, the nearby parks offered amazing walking paths and views during my stay.

Unexpected warmth during our stay
Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the staff, which made our long drive worth it. The room was spacious and truly comfortable, setting a pleasant tone for our getaway.
Unfortunately, the breakfast options fell short. We were hoping for a little more variety than just bagels and cereal, especially after hearing great things.

Great fun for the fam!
The kids loved the water park, especially the slide. Our 15-month-old had fun in the zero-entry section. The breakfast area was super cozy, and we scored a good deal for a family of eight. One issue though, the pool towels were always missing. Still, we made some awesome memories!

missingWrote a review on Sept 02friendly staffexcellent locationpool issueslack of hot water
The location is excellent and the staff was friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the pool issues were disappointing, lack of hot water was inconvenient, and the cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations, which dampened the overall experience. Would consider returning for the friendly service.

The Dakota offered a pleasant atmosphere with a well-decorated lobby and comfortable workspaces. The staff remained courteous and helpful throughout my stay, especially when I needed assistance with my presentation equipment. Additionally, the business center was a great asset, providing the necessary resources for my work requirements.
The pool was unexpectedly closed, and room cleanliness left much to be desired.

Just a prime choice for a brief pause in Sioux Falls with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast area was clean, but limited selection.

A family-friendly stay with room for improvement
Our two-night stay was decent, but we were disappointed that the pool equipment for kids was no longer there. The kids loved the lobby area where we could grab snacks. Pro tip, check the pool status before visiting to ensure it’s open.
